Trovancy Technologies Delivers Smart Security and Agricultural Technology Solutions to Kocholwo Cooperative Society

Trovancy Technologies has today continued its commitment to transforming agricultural cooperatives through practical technology solutions, completing a major technology installation project at Kocholwo Cooperative Society in Keiyo South.
The project brought together three key solutions designed to improve the cooperative’s operations, security, and post-harvest management: CCTV surveillance cameras, Cofipro digital management solutions, and an 8×15-metre solar dryer.
Enhancing Security Through CCTV Surveillance
As part of the project, Trovancy Technologies installed a modern CCTV surveillance system at the cooperative’s facilities. The system is designed to strengthen security, improve monitoring, and provide cooperative management with greater visibility of activities around their premises.
For a farmers’ cooperative handling valuable agricultural produce and equipment, reliable surveillance provides an important additional layer of protection while supporting better management of the facility.
The farmers and cooperative stakeholders expressed their satisfaction with the installation, appreciating the improved security and visibility that the system brings to their operations.
Digital Transformation Through Cofipro
The project also incorporated Cofipro, Trovancy’s digital solution designed to support coffee collection and cooperative management.
Through digital technology, cooperatives can move toward more organized management of farmer information, coffee deliveries, weights, transactions, and other important operational records.
The integration of technology into everyday cooperative operations is part of a broader shift toward more efficient, transparent, and data-driven agricultural management.
Supporting Farmers With an 8×15-Metre Solar Dryer
Another important component of the project was the installation of an 8×15-metre solar dryer, providing the cooperative with an improved facility for drying agricultural produce.
Solar drying offers farmers an opportunity to make better use of available solar energy while improving the drying process and reducing dependence on less controlled traditional drying methods.
The new facility represents another step toward strengthening post-harvest handling and helping farmers protect the quality of their produce.
Farmers Welcome the Transformation
One of the most rewarding aspects of the project was the positive response from the farmers.
The cooperative’s members were happy to see technology being introduced directly into their farming and cooperative operations. From improved security through CCTV to digital management through Cofipro and better drying infrastructure, the solutions provide practical tools aimed at addressing real challenges faced by farmers.
For Trovancy Technologies, the project is another example of how technology can go beyond screens and software to create tangible improvements in agricultural communities.
“Smart technology should solve real problems. Our goal is to work alongside farmers and cooperatives to provide solutions that improve security, efficiency, productivity, and the way agricultural businesses operate.”
Building a Smarter Agricultural Future
Trovancy Technologies continues to work with farmer cooperatives, agribusinesses, and agricultural institutions to provide integrated technology and infrastructure solutions.
From CCTV surveillance and software development to agricultural technology, solar drying solutions, weighing systems, and coffee-processing equipment, Trovancy is committed to delivering practical solutions that support farmers and their organizations.
The Kocholwo Cooperative Society project demonstrates what is possible when technology, agriculture, and community development come together.
