Trovancy Technologies Successfully Completes 8×15m Coffee Solar Dryer at Kocholwo

Kocholwo, Elgeyo-Marakwet County — Trovancy Technologies has successfully completed the construction and installation of an 8×15-metre solar dryer designed for coffee processing and drying at Kocholwo, Soy South Ward.
The project is aimed at providing farmers with a more effective and controlled environment for drying coffee parchment, helping improve post-harvest handling and coffee quality.
The solar dryer provides protection from unpredictable weather conditions while allowing coffee to dry under improved conditions. This can help reduce exposure to rain, contamination and other challenges commonly experienced during open-air drying.
The completion of the project marks another step in Trovancy Technologies' commitment to providing practical technology solutions for agricultural communities, particularly in Kenya's coffee-growing regions.
Through solutions such as solar dryers, weighing systems, coffee management platforms and other agricultural technologies, Trovancy Technologies continues to work alongside farmers and cooperative societies to support more efficient agricultural operations.
